Spring Tournament Triumphs for TF-Coached Teams

Teams coached by Total Futbol competed in numerous tournaments to cap off a busy spring season, with many of them topping the charts against tough competition. Below are the results achieved by teams that finished as Finalists or Champions, but all teams benefit from tournaments even if they do not place, because these competitions build teamwork, camaraderie and fitness for players.

Stats: Win-Loss-Draw; GF=Goals For; GA=Goals Against. Older age groups play only three games per tournament while younger
teams (U9-U14) that advance will play four.


Herndon Crush 04 were Finalists in the GU14 Premier Gold bracket of The Virginian Elite Showcase. The team competed in a total of four matches, scoring one goal and allowing two, posting a 1-2-1 record in a tightly contested division.
Herndon Hooligans 01 were Finalists in the GU17 Premier bracket of the PWSI Icebreaker Tournament. The team competed in four matches, winning two and losing two, scoring five goals and conceding three. Love the dog/mascot who joined in their victory photo op!
MSC Academy Green 06 won the GU12 Green Division at Stafford Soccer's 25th Annual St. Patrick's Day Tournament. And they did it by drawing three teams and beating one!  Along the way, the squad scored five goals and let in four.

MSI Academy White 05 were Finalists in the GU13 Yellow bracket of the Mid-Atlantic Cup, posting a 3-1-0 record and scoring a whopping 17 goals while allowing just one in four games. That lone goal conceded led to their only loss in the tournament.
