Tournaments Yield a Trove of Trophies
June 15, 2019

Herndon Eclipse 08 recline in glory after winning the Girls U11 Premier Gold bracket at the Virginian Elite tournament over Memorial Day weekend. The squad placed well in three tournaments this Spring: they were also Finalists in the Girls U11 Classic bracket at the prestigious Jefferson Cup Girls Weekend in mid-March and Champions of the Girls U11 Silver bracket at the McLean Tournament on March 24.

Teams coached by Total Futbol competed in numerous tournaments throughout the spring season, with 13 of them claiming Championships and another six teams finishing as Finalists against tough competition. Below are the results achieved by teams that finished in first or second place at regional tournaments, but Total Futbol celebrates all teams (and their parents!) who put out the effort to attend and compete, whether or not they place. Tournaments demand skills and teamwork, and they promote camaraderie and fitness for players.
