Herndon United Players Selected for WAGS All-Star Team

Three Herndon United players have been selected for the inaugural WAGS All-Star international trip. Jessica, Laurel, and Rory were chosen by the staff of the Washington Spirit to play on the team. The league created the event for U13/14 players to travel over the summer to England to play a series of games abroad.

The girls will go to England from August 1-9. In addition to the experience of playing abroad versus international competition, the team is slated to take part in a number of cultural and sightseeing activities. The experience should be a great one for the girls to grow both on and off of the field. Congratulations to the players selected for the team and have a great time in Europe!
